This occurs during a flashback in the sixth episode of Gunn’s animated series Creature Commandos on Max. The scene, filled with atmospheric tension, depicts Doctor Phosphorus (voiced by Alan Tudyk) gazing through the skylight of his nightclub, where Batman’s figure is dramatically illuminated by a lightning strike.
This cameo presents a mysterious outline of the Dark Knight, highlighting his iconic white eyes, classic trunks, a flowing cape, and a notably muscular physique. While fans have speculated if this hints at Robert Pattinson’s Batman from Matt Reeves’ films joining the DCU, the inclusion of distinct attributes suggests it may be a different interpretation.
