Tyler Perry returns with a compelling new film that diverges from his typical style – a World War II drama named The Six Triple Eight. This Netflix film will debut on December 20, 2024, and highlights the remarkable true story of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, an all-Black Women’s Army Corps unit during the war.

Under the leadership of Major Charity Adams, portrayed by the talented Kerry Washington, this unit faced severe hardships and substantial discrimination yet pressed on. Their objective? To tackle an overwhelming three-year backlog of unprocessed mail—an essential service for soldiers overseas and their loved ones at home.
