Sylvester Stallone Defends Bruce Willis on Twitter

Moviegoers were disappointed when they heard that Bruce Willis would not be appearing in “Expendables 3” due to a disagreement over money. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Willis was expecting to receive more than the $3 million offered, and when the offer was not increased, he threatened to drop out of the movie. Sylvester Stallone seemingly confirmed this news when he tweeted cryptically about Willis, saying “GREEDY AND LAZY …… A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE.” Although Stallone never mentioned Willis by name, it was clear that he was referring to his former friend. Stallone quickly replaced Willis with Harrison Ford, and the movie was released without the “Die Hard” actor. However, their friendship was soon restored.
