As the award season approaches each year, one of the biggest questions is whether or not the biggest shows will have a host. This is especially true for the Oscars, which has been hosted by some of the entertainment industry’s most famous comedians, such as Billy Crystal (nine times) and Whoopi Goldberg (four times). In 2019, however, Kevin Hart was set to host the 91st Academy Awards until a scandal caused the Academy to announce that there would be no official host for that year.
