Despite his struggles, Simon Barney seems to be doing well today. He’s still fighting the fight, and he’s in for the long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long long
“I’m a private person, despite what my time on reality television might say,” said Simon Barney. “But I wanted to speak out before someone else does and uses their words, not mine. And to speak out about it so others can see how I’ve taken this fight on with optimism, and the good this has ultimately brought my life.”
Barney struggled especially hard during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Tamra Judge. She became one of Simon’s support systems. “As you all know, last month he went public with his cancer diagnosis,” said Judge. “Having a disease that compromised his immune system means that this could be lethal for him.”
Fortunately, Simon Barney appears to be doing well today. In 2022, Judge updated fans yet again on Simon Barney and offered up some encouraging news. “He’s doing okay, he’s doing okay,” said Judge. “He’s still fighting the fight.”
Since divorcing Tamra Judge, Simon Barney seemed to readjust quite nicely into normal life. Unfortunately, he found himself back in the spotlight after revealing his cancer diagnosis to People in 2020. “I’m a private person, despite what my time on reality television might say,” shared Barney. “But I wanted to speak before someone else does and uses their words, not mine. And to speak out about it so others can see how I’ve taken this fight on with optimism, and the good this has ultimately brought my life.” At the time, Barney had stage 3 throat cancer, which required chemo and radiation, described as Barney as “almost worse than the cancer.”
