Nate Richert, best known for his role as Harvey Kinkle on “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” had only a few movie roles after 2006 before disappearing from Hollywood. In 2020, he made a small comeback with an episode of the television series “Home Work,” his first on-screen appearance in 14 years. In 2018, Richert revealed what he had been doing since playing Kinkle: working odd jobs such as maintenance, janitorial work, carpentry, and whatever else he could find to pay the bills. He also does improv and songwriting as side gigs for fun. When asked why he wasn’t in any major roles after “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” Richert replied that anxiety and depression had been his major game stoppers, and it took him a decade to learn how to cope and overcome. Though he is no longer taking on big roles, his beloved character Harvey Kinkle is still a fan-favorite.
