Australian Ambassador Andrew Goledzinowski stressed the significant role education plays in the partnership between Australia and Vietnam, highlighting the long history of Vietnamese students studying in Australia, with a considerable number of alumni and scholarship recipients.
Reflecting on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Ambassador acknowledged the challenges faced by Australia, leading to a reassessment of the visa management system.
Improving the integrity of the visa system, adjustments to the student visa program have been made to prioritize genuine students’ access to quality education in Australia. Consequently, visa processing times have increased.
