Enhancing Binh Dinh’s Luxury Tourism Appeal
To boost its tourism industry, Binh Dinh has attracted the attention of two notable international investors. Their aim is to develop the province into a premier destination for luxury tourism, drawing inspiration from the lavish world of yachts and superyachts.
On January 16, Binh Dinh was honored to host Roland Staub, the Chairman of Finance Suisse from Switzerland, along with Timur Mohamed, the Chairman of Palmer Johnson from Monaco, a leader in superyacht production.
This visit marked a significant milestone for the province, emphasizing its ambition to become a leading hub for ultra-luxury tourism both regionally and globally.

The provincial People’s Committee, along with various organizations, engaged the two investors in conversations about Binh Dinh’s landscape and its potential for growth following site surveys of the area’s picturesque coastlines.
Roland Staub praised Binh Dinh’s strategic location and promising opportunities, confirming his intention to attract international funding and provide strategic advice to elevate the province into a luxury destination for the elite.
Timur Mohamed pointed out Binh Dinh’s unique characteristics that make it an appealing center for luxury yachting. With over a century of experience in the superyacht industry, Palmer Johnson plans to invest in high-end tourism projects, which will include world-class marinas, luxury resorts by the beach, and bespoke experiences tailored for the affluent.
During the January 16 discussions, provincial officials firmly backed the initiative to position Binh Dinh as a luxury tourism hotspot. Phan Anh Tuan, the Chairman of the Binh Dinh People’s Committee, signed a memorandum of understanding with Timur Mohamed to reinforce their investment collaboration.
The leadership of Binh Dinh has committed to enhancing the investment climate, expediting infrastructure development, and offering legal and policy support to attract international investors, all in pursuit of realizing the vision of establishing Binh Dinh as a globally acknowledged luxury tourism destination.
