Nguyen Phu Trong was born on April 14, 1944, in Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and a Bachelor of Literature.
His education includes studying at various institutions, serving in different positions within the Communist Review, and completing political-economic courses.
Throughout his career, Nguyen Phu Trong held several key positions within the Communist Party of Vietnam, including Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and General Secretary of the Party Central Committee.
In his roles, he contributed significantly to the Party and the nation, receiving accolades such as the 55-year Party Membership Badge and the Gold Star Order.
Tragically, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and service.
