Experience the beauty of Sa Pa while sipping coffee surrounded by its breathtaking natural landscapes, especially during the golden harvest season.
Located in the tranquil village of Pho, Muong Hoa commune, a charming coffee shop has gained popularity on social media for its picturesque setting.
Situated among the iconic terraced rice fields, this cozy spot provides a retreat where visitors can indulge in the natural beauty of Sa Pa, particularly during the enchanting harvest time.
Surrounded by traditional wooden huts used for drying crops, the coffee shop is often enveloped by white clouds in the early mornings, creating a captivating and surreal atmosphere.
As August comes to an end, the green rice fields transform into a golden hue, offering a stunning backdrop for photography enthusiasts. The upcoming rice harvest season around the 2/9 holiday is expected to be at its most vibrant.
Owned by Duong Quoc Hieu, the coffee shop spans a 2,000-square-meter area of terraced fields where Hieu has added bamboo, wood, and rattan huts to accommodate the increasing number of tourists.
Hieu’s eco-friendly approach using materials like bamboo and wood blends seamlessly with Sa Pa’s beauty, attracting visitors with the region’s unique charm.
To enhance visitors’ experience, Hieu replaced the dirt path with a wooden walkway, providing a peaceful setting to enjoy coffee amid the refreshing air away from city life.
The coffee shop is open from 7am until the last customer leaves, with weekends being particularly busy. The menu includes smoothies, fruit juices, and more, priced between 40,000 and 60,000 VND, easily accessible by car.
For a complete cultural immersion, traditional H’Mong costumes can be rented for 50,000 VND per outfit, and reservations are recommended for those interested in dining with locals.
The rustic corn-drying huts and surrounding rice fields are ideal photography spots, showcasing the daily life and natural allure of the area. Nearby attractions include the ancient rock field, Muong Hoa stream, and Ta Van cloud bridge.
Sa Pa is famous for its golden rice fields, visible in places like Y Linh Ho, Muong Hoa Valley, Cat Cat Village, and Lao Chai. With the National Day (2/9) holiday approaching, central Sa Pa’s luxury resorts and hotels are reporting high occupancy rates exceeding 90%.
Even homestays farther from the center but offering close-to-nature experiences with terraced field views have been fully booked in advance.
This season, the “Sa Pa Autumn Festival 2024” is taking place, featuring events like the Muong Hoa Fairy Tale Circus, H’Mong Cultural Day, and Golden Harvest Festival at Ban May, offering visitors a unique insight into the rich cultural and natural heritage of this stunning region.
