Vietnam Football Team Celebrates Triumph at Home

The national football team of Vietnam returned to a jubilant reception, having claimed the 2024 ASEAN Cup in Thailand. Fans flocked to Hanoi to honor their victorious team.

Starting at 2:00 PM, a lively assembly of supporters gathered at the VIP A entrance of Noi Bai International Airport, excitedly welcoming the players after their exhilarating match the night before. The atmosphere was filled with cheers and chants for the team’s remarkable achievement.

Among the enthusiastic supporters was Mr. Tao from Soc Son district, Hanoi, who proudly wore a red outfit and brought along a drum to amplify the celebration.

“Over 30 fans from my community joined to show their support. We feel so proud,” he expressed with joy.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa arrived at the airport as early as 11:30 AM, eager to greet the team.

“I am overwhelmed with pride and affection for Vietnam’s national team,” she said with a radiant smile.

Two double-decker buses were on standby, prepared to take the players on a celebratory parade through the city.

The team’s return has sparked a wave of national pride, bringing together fans from diverse backgrounds to celebrate their champions.
