Hoang Minh, a final-year student at the University of Natural Resources and Environment in Hanoi, recorded the video on July 9 to cherish the moments with his grandmother, not expecting it to gain such immense attention.
During the journey, his grandmother nostalgically asked about visiting her father’s house, revealing a touching insight into the world of the elderly, where cherished memories remain vivid. The care and attention shown to his grandmother at the ID card office deeply touched Hoang Minh.
Mrs. Lam Thi Dat, who is 99 years old, resides in Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province, living independently and actively despite her age. Hoang Minh appreciates the time spent with his grandmother, maintaining a close bond despite his university studies.
Hoang Minh fondly remembers his grandmother’s nurturing presence during his childhood and maintains a tradition of visiting her at least once a month. Even at her age, she continues to dote on him, hoping to witness his future success in career and family.
