As of today, Vietnamese consumers can begin pre-ordering the new iPhone 16 series, with expected delivery on September 27. The Apple Store Vietnam initiated pre-orders at 12:01 AM on September 20, allowing each customer to reserve up to two devices without any promotional deals.
Additionally, authorized local retailers are also taking pre-orders for the iPhone 16 series, which includes models like the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, typically offering more appealing promotions than the official Apple Store.
Nguyen Minh Khue, a spokesperson for Viettel Store, shared that pre-orders for the iPhone 16 have started at VND 17.99 million and VND 23.99 million for the iPhone 16 Pro. Customers can enjoy various exclusive benefits, such as exchanging Viettel++ points, direct telecom package discounts, trade-in options, and cashless payment incentives through financial partners.
In discussing market trends, Khue highlighted the rising popularity of the iPhone 16 Pro Max Titanium Desert model among shoppers. Viettel Store has committed to maintaining sufficient stock for all iPhone 16 variants for the upcoming delivery date.
On another note, TopZone by The Gioi Di Dong (MobiWorld) is presenting several incentives for customers who pre-order the iPhone 16 series. They promise a VND 1 million bonus in case of delivery delays, along with interest-free installment options, trade-in discounts up to VND 2 million, additional discounts on Apple products, and up to 35% off accessories.
Currently, TopZone’s website indicates that nearly 16,000 deposits have already been made for the iPhone 16 series.
CellphoneS has also initiated pre-orders starting at 12:01 AM on September 20, featuring various promotions such as trade-in discounts reaching up to VND 4 million for older devices. Smember members receive a VND 500,000 discount when trading or upgrading devices, as well as VND 2 million off when using credit card or e-wallet payments. They offer a “3 No’s” installment plan that includes no interest, no upfront payment, and no extra fees on promotional pricing.
Customers buying the iPhone 16 series from CellphoneS can enjoy discounts of up to 25% on accessories like chargers, cases, screen protectors, power banks, audio devices, and extended AppleCare+ warranties. Furthermore, during the first month of sales, purchasing three or more accessories will earn additional discounts between 5% and 25%.
Di Dong Viet promotes itself with the slogan “cheaper than the cheapest,” offering iPhone 16 series prices that are VND 1 million lower than competitors. The lowest-priced models include VND 21.99 million for the iPhone 16, VND 24.99 million for the iPhone 16 Plus, VND 27.99 million for the iPhone 16 Pro, and VND 34.49 million for the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Di Dong Viet also presents promotions up to VND 11 million, which feature trade-in bonuses up to VND 5 million, 0% installment plans, or added discounts of up to VND 3 million, along with price reductions on Apple products and accessories up to 40%. Additionally, they offer warranty services including defect exchanges and breakage replacements under a one-for-one policy.
FPT Shop provides customers who pre-order the iPhone 16 series with discounts of up to VND 3 million, coupled with a two-year one-for-one warranty and installment plans that can extend up to 24 months. Minh Tuan Mobile stands out by offering trade-in discounts of up to 95% alongside 0% installment plans. Notably, they will forgo their typical product launch event this year to allocate funds to support communities affected by recent typhoons and flooding. Collecting pre-ordered iPhone 16 series devices will be available at 12:00 AM on September 27 at three specified store locations.
The demand for the iPhone 16 pre-orders has surpassed expectations, with inquiry registrations being five times higher than the previous year. The 128GB variant of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus continues to be the most favored, while interest in the 256GB model has increased by 20%. For the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max, over 75% of customers prefer the 256GB variant, signaling a trend towards choosing larger storage options suitable for advanced tasks and entertainment needs.
