No parents anticipated being home for months on end with their children, and especially never thought they’d have to try to entertain them all while trying to do their own work from home. If you’re tired of playing hide-and-go-seek or just completely run out of cartoons to put on, Chrissy Teigen has an idea for you: Joining together your kid’s two favorite stuffed animals in holy matrimony.

The Gateway Arch Park in St. Louis, MO has given us an assignment: Recreate the arch with household objects. They’ve seen a few creative takes, with some using toilet paper, ramen noodles, and even craft beer.
No architects here at Fodor’s, but we’re up for the challenge.
An Office Reunion to Celebrate Some Good News
John Krasinski has decided to round up all the good news he could find for his self-produced #SomeGoodNews web-show (I like to think he saw this column and was inspired). The one thing he has that our column doesn’t: a best friend named Steve Carell. The two reunited, to the joy of The Office fans everywhere, to report on the good news they were finding amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Iceland’s Kid-Friendly Bear Hunt
We might be social-distancing, but the general consensus is that walks, so long as you avoid others out on a stroll, are a-okay. In Iceland, homes are striving to make the walks more exciting for children by turning it into a game.
With residents hiding teddy bears in windows, kids out for a walk can participate in a scavenger hunt but counting all the stuffed animals that they see.
In Iceland people are putting teddy bears in their windows so when parents take their kids for a walk, it’s in fact a “teddy bear quest” where the lil’ones are finding all the 🧸🧸 in the windows and it’s so cute I can’t deal 😭💗

An incredibly cute way to spice up another otherwise mundane activity (though walks are definitely becoming the new it activity).
And though not part of the bear hunt, it felt wrong to skip over these bears, who are keeping to their daily activities–like doing laundry in the front yard.

Wave Fort Wayne
In his Indiana town, residents are taking to their front porch every night at 7 p.m. to say “Hello!” This new tradition in the northeast town of Fort Wayne is a way for neighbors to still stay social and feel less alone during self-isolation. Neighbors bring out their dogs, kids, and themselves for the quick act that shows they’re still hanging in.
It’s simple – just step outside and wave to your neighbors!
The city of Fort Wayne is participating in this nationwide movement that will take place nightly at 7 p.m.
