Tickets for Vietnam vs. Singapore Match Sell Out Quickly
Fans eagerly awaited the second leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup (AFF Cup) semifinal between Vietnam and Singapore, scheduled for December 29. Tickets were quickly sold out within just three hours of their release.
Beginning on the afternoon of December 26, numerous fans began gathering outside the Phu Tho Province Sports Arena, with many choosing to camp overnight to ensure they could buy tickets for the much-anticipated game.
By 6 a.m. on December 27, a large crowd had formed at the ticket sales area. In response to the influx of fans, the management at Phu Tho Provincial Sports Complex increased staff presence and positioned extra mobile barriers to keep everything organized.
Security personnel implemented a controlled entry route from the main gate to the ticket booth. Thankfully, despite the numerous attendees, there were no incidents involving pushing, barrier breaches, or safety issues.
At 8 a.m., ticket sales began inside the arena. Thousands of fans stood patiently in lines, eager to purchase their tickets. According to the rules, each person could buy a maximum of two tickets. Ticket prices for the Vietnam vs. Singapore match at Viet Tri Stadium ranged from 300,000 VND to 600,000 VND (about $12.30 to $24.60).
By 11 a.m., merely three hours after opening, the organizing committee announced that all tickets had been sold out.
