Investigation Into Violent Incident in Ho Chi Minh City
The Police Investigation Agency of Ho Chi Minh City, in conjunction with District 1 Police, is looking into an incident that took place early on December 28 at an entertainment venue on Tran Hung Dao Street in Nguyen Cu Trinh Ward, District 1.
Video footage shared on social media reportedly depicts men without shirts and covered in tattoos wielding weapons and attacking others inside what seems to be a karaoke establishment.
As per reports from South Korean media, three South Korean nationals viciously assaulted the venue’s owner, also South Korean, along with one of his staff members.

The venue owner succumbed to his injuries, while the employee has been hospitalized and is in critical condition.
While the Ho Chi Minh City Police have not yet issued an official statement, they have detained several individuals connected to the incident and are interviewing witnesses to get to the bottom of what happened.
Authorities are actively working on assembling a detailed timeline and motive for the event, with more information anticipated as the investigation continues.
