The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has unveiled a roster of 17 residential projects where foreign nationals and entities can legally acquire property.
This initiative follows a recommendation from the Department of Construction and has garnered approval from the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, and local government officials.
Here are the 17 sanctioned projects:
Urban Green – Ladona Real Estate Co., Ltd. – Street 6, Hiep Binh Ward
Diamond Island – Kusto Home – Street 104, Binh Trung Ward
High-rise housing in Tan Phu Ward, District 7 (Lot B1) – Dynamic Innovation Co., Ltd. – Tan My Ward
High-rise housing in Tan Phu Ward, District 7 (Lot B4) – Dynamic Innovation Co., Ltd. – Tan My Ward
High-rise housing in Tan Phu Ward, District 7 (Lot B2) – Phat Dat Corporation – Tan My Ward
High-rise housing in Tan Phu Ward, District 7 (Lot B3) – Phat Dat Corporation – Tan My Ward
Residential units at Lot 3-15 – North Thu Thiem One Member Co., Ltd. – Thu Thiem Urban Area
City Garden Apartments – City Garden JSC – Thanh My Tay Ward

The HCMC Department of Construction will make further information about these projects available on its official website and will oversee the sales process to ensure adherence to legal standards.
Conversely, foreign ownership is not permitted in the following four projects, and any breaches should be reported to the city for necessary measures:
Hung Vuong 2 – R13 and Hung Vuong 1 – R16 in Tan Hung Ward
Star Hill – Zone C15B in Tan My Ward
(All three managed by Phu My Hung Development Co., Ltd.)
The Prince Residence in Phu Nhuan Ward (developed by The Prince Residence JSC)
If there are any unauthorized foreign sales detected in these developments, the Department of Construction is required to document and suggest disciplinary action per city regulations.
