The forum titled “Showcasing Vietnamese Values Globally in the Age of Digitalization and AI” is scheduled for June 15 in Budapest, organized by the Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe.
As the world rapidly changes due to the digital revolution, Vietnam is making noteworthy progress in technology. For the Vietnamese community abroad—particularly women, who juggle the task of safeguarding cultural heritage while engaging on an international scale—embracing technological progress has become essential.
This second iteration of the forum (following the inaugural event on June 3, 2023) provides a platform for Vietnamese women across Europe to come together, exchange insights, share personal experiences, and learn from each other as they strive to enhance Vietnam’s position on the world stage.
The Vietnamese Women’s Forum in Europe, renowned for its significant impact and trustworthiness, has secured approval from the Hungarian National Assembly to hold this important event in the vicinity of Hungary’s main legislative institution.
Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament, Mátrai Márta, will grace the event with opening remarks, alongside representatives from the Vietnamese community in Europe, as well as businesses and educational organizations that will discuss necessary changes in the digital landscape.
The forum aims to foster connections among Vietnamese women living, studying, and working in Europe—individuals who honor core traditional values while also embracing innovation and creativity in today’s society. In the digital landscape, they act as crucial links between Vietnam and the international community, merging Vietnamese cultural identity with global developments. This aligns seamlessly with the Forum’s guiding principle: “Confidence, dynamism, creativity, connection.”
The significance of this event is heightened as it coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Hungary, as well as the 35th anniversary of Vietnam’s diplomatic ties with the European Union.

Around 300 delegates from 18 nations are anticipated to attend, marking a key moment in recognizing the importance and influence of Vietnamese women in Europe within the context of national progress.
In nearly two years since its inception, the Forum has implemented numerous impactful initiatives aimed at unifying and empowering the Vietnamese women’s movement across Europe, while also fostering connections with domestic organizations and promoting global integration.
