Tuan pointed out that various competitions have started using distinctive color themes—like pink for Miss International, gold and green for Miss Grand International, and blue for Miss Cosmo. While these themes help establish a unique identity for each pageant, they tend to restrict designers’ creative options.
To address this issue, Tuan encourages contestants to embrace their individual style and make confident fashion choices that truly represent them on the international stage.
The designer reminisced about a memorable instance when the contestant from Kyrgyzstan astonished everyone by wearing a dress he initially created for Que Anh at Miss Grand International during the semifinals of Miss Universe 2024.
