With an impressive score of 4.34 out of 5, Vietnam was recognized for its popular dishes such as phở, bánh mì, lẩu bò nhúng giấm, bún bò Nam Bộ, and mì Quảng.
This ranking showcases a rise of three spots from its position in 2023, indicating a growing acknowledgment of Vietnam as a culinary hotspot around the world.
Additionally, the Central and Southern regions of Vietnam were recognized in Taste Atlas’ 2024 list of top culinary regions, with the Central region ranking 27th and known for its mì Quảng, bánh xèo, and cao lầu. The Southern region follows in 53rd place, celebrated for bánh tráng trộn, hủ tiếu, and lẩu mắm.
The Taste Atlas Awards are an annual recognition of global culinary excellence, decided based on over 400,000 votes and reviews from a mix of food lovers, chefs, and critics worldwide.
Founded in 2015 and based in Zagreb, Croatia, Taste Atlas aims to be a global resource for traditional cuisines, showcasing iconic dishes from around the world.
