‘This Full-Bodied Experience Of Shock’: Jonathan Majors’ Accuser Grace Jabbari Continues Her Testimony In Assault Trial

Actor Jonathan Majors was on top of the world before his recent legal issues, thanks to his acclaimed performances in both Creed III and Ant-Man 3. But back in March Majors was charged with assault in New York City, and accused of abuse by his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. The trial has officially begun, and Majors’ judge already made two rulings early on. And his accuser Jabbari continues her testimony, being quoted about her “full-bodied experience of shock” following the alleged incident.

The timeline of Jonathan Majors’ legal issues is still being revealed, including what happened on the night of his conflict with Grace Jabbari which ultimately resulted in his arrest. She returned to the stand today (per The Independent), sharing how she felt after returning to Majors’ apartment on that night. Jabbari says her background in dance made her able to withstand pain, being quoted saying:

Again it was kind of like this full-bodied experience of shock. I was really aware that something was not right.

Jabbari claimed that she was unable to lie on her right side due to the alleged assault, and detailed a finger injury as well as a head laceration. She later fell asleep on the bathroom floor, and alleges that she woke up surrounded by cops, after Majors himself called the authorities.

Exactly what happened between Jonathan Majors and Grace Jabbari on that night has already been discussed a great deal by the former pair’s legal team. Majors’ lawyers have attempted to poke holes in her story, with security footage seemingly showing Jabbari out in a bar after the alleged incident. During her testimony, she claimed she didn’t want to be alone, which is why she went to a friend’s birthday after her conflict with the Lovecraft Country actor. For her part, Jabbari turned herself in for assault due to the scuffle that occurred between the former couple.

Only time will tell how things shake out in court, but smart money says that plenty of eyes will be watching how it all turns out. While this isn’t expected to go quite as viral as Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s legal battle, the allegations are serious and the stakes feel very high.

Since Jonathan Majors was arrested, fans have been wondering how this will impact his career. Majors was dropped from a US Army ad after being charged, and he hasn’t been able to film anything new. Of course, the biggest question mark is about his ongoing role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Majors made his debut as Kang in Loki Season 1, before playing the primary antagonist of Ant-Man 3. Kang was expected to be the shared universe’s next Thanos-level villain, which is why fans are wondering if Marvel will part ways with the actor. He recently appeared in Loki Season 2, which was filmed prior to the allegations. We’ll just have to see how things go down in court.
