Nigerian actress Angela Okorie recently discussed the theme of forgiveness while sharing moments with fellow actor Zubby Michael in a video.
In her Instagram post, Angela showcased their time together in a car, reflecting on the importance of forgiveness. She highlighted that forgiveness brings divine blessings, whereas harboring bitterness is detrimental.
She encouraged letting go of past grievances, suggesting that the person you may be angry with could actually open the door to future opportunities.
Okorie stated that the act of forgiving can lead to significant positive changes in life.
She stated, ‘‘Experiencing God’s blessings is impossible without the willingness to forgive. Holding onto bitterness is a powerful constraint. It affects your life struggles, obstructing blessings and potentially leading to illness.
Being unforgiving might tempt you to find joy in wrongdoing. The individual you’re reluctant to forgive could be the key to tomorrow’s success.
Don’t hold onto offenses, as doing so will keep you trapped in your pain.
Forgiveness has the potential to transform circumstances, even influencing divine mercy.’
Previously, Angela had criticized Zubby for not publicly mourning their deceased colleague, Junior Pope. She expressed doubt that Zubby could openly honor Junior due to their complicated history.
Angela remarked on Zubby’s conflicts with many in the industry, including Junior Pope, as a reflection of his desire to dominate Nollywood.
Recently, Angela and Zubby reunited, sharing a casual moment and confirming their mutual affection.
