Tinubu Recognized as True Politician by PDP Spokesperson
Segun Sowunmi, who previously served as a spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar, the former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has deemed President Bola Tinubu as the first genuine politician to take on the presidency of Nigeria.
Sowunmi claimed that past leaders such as Olusegun Obasanjo, Muhammadu Buhari, and Goodluck Jonathan do not qualify as true politicians.
While appearing on TVC News, he stated that the opposition faces significant challenges under the current administration led by Tinubu.
According to Sowunmi, opposing Tinubu’s government is progressively becoming more difficult.
He remarked, “In the current administration of the APC, led by President Tinubu, we must acknowledge that we have a demanding task ahead. He is the first genuine politician to win an election and ascend to the presidency.”
“Obasanjo and Buhari cannot identify as politicians due to their military backgrounds, and Jonathan’s rise was rooted in the misfortunes of others. In contrast, Tinubu is recognized as a true politician.”
“It is essential that we cultivate capable minds to reflect on our democracy and the role of the opposition.”
