Bobrisky Appeals to Burna Boy for Speed Darlington’s Release
Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, a well-known Nigerian crossdresser, has reached out to the musician Burna Boy, urging him to help free fellow artist Speed Darlington.
Speed Darlington’s arrest followed his claim that Burna Boy was involved in a questionable relationship with American music executive Diddy to secure a Grammy award.
Despite a court ruling allowing his release, Darlington remains in custody, sparking diverse opinions from the public.
Bobrisky, a social media personality, joined the ongoing plea for Speed Darlington’s freedom, stating that a month and a half in jail is sufficient punishment.
In an Instagram Story, Bobrisky shared, “I just want to focus on my own life this year and avoid involvement with Nigerian celebrities. However, my empathy makes it hard to ignore this situation.”
He continued, “Burna Boy, please show mercy to Speed. Prison conditions are dreadful, and I doubt he can afford a comfortable stay.”
