Boosie Badazz won’t back down, not even to JAY-Z.
The controversial rapper faced backlash for comments he made about Dwyane Wade’s 12-year-old daughter, Zaya, after she came out as transgender. But Boosie still doesn’t feel the need to apologize.
During an interview with “The Breakfast Club” on Monday (via XXL), Boosie claimed that higher powers tried to intervene including JAY-Z, who attempted to set up a meeting between him and Wade, but Boosie declined.
“Nah, they already tried to do that. They was trying to hook up some shit with a meeting,” Boosie told Charlamagne Tha God. “They say JAY-Z was gonna get him on the phone and all that shit. I need to apologize to save this and save that.”

Not only did he turn down the offer, he also doubled down on his comments. “Hey, tell JAY-Z I don’t wanna talk,” he added. “I’m not apologizing for shit. I don’t give a fuck if Jesus calling to tell me to apologize. I said what I said, man. I felt that was right.”
In February, Boosie stirred controversy after he shared his thoughts on Wade supporting his daughter’s decision to identify as transgender. “I gotta say something about this shit, bro. Dwyane Wade, you gone too fucking far, dawg,” said Boosie during his Instagram rant. “That is a male. A 12-year-old. At 12, they don’t even know what they next meal gon’ be. They don’t have shit figured out yet. He might meet a woman, anything, at 16 and fall in love with her. But his dick be gone-how he gon’-like, bruh, you going too far, dawg.”
Boosie’s own mother even told him to apologize. “My mama called me early in the morning and got on my ass, talking about, ‘Stay off social media! That’s they family! You stay out people’s business…’ But I was just speaking how I felt,” he said.
