Fr. Kelvin Ugwu, a well-known Nigerian Catholic priest, has observed that a significant number of Christians today seem to be more intimidated by the devil than they are in their devotion to God.
He pointed out that rather than kneeling in absolute reverence and submission to God, many Christians now find themselves yielding in fear at the mere mention of the devil’s name.
He stated: ‘’In this present age, Christians appear to harbor more fear of the devil than of God. It’s disheartening that in the 21st century, at the mere sound of the devil’s name, people surrender their strength.
To influence contemporary Christians is rather straightforward: simply highlight how demons are pursuing them, and you’ll see them follow your commands.
