Get your SPF 50 sunscreen ready because the Coachella 2020 lineup is finally here!

The highly anticipated festival has had some of the biggest names in music take the stage in the past but this time around, the lineup includes a handful of performers who have made the biggest waves in pop culture this past year.

Now that the performers have been announced, the countdown to the 2020 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival can officially commence.

This year’s headliners are expected to give unforgettable performances

Ever since Beyoncé headlined Coachella 2018, many of us were certain no other artist would be able to top the iconic hour and half set she gave.

While a few artists came close to doing so last year, we have a feeling those headlining Coachella 2020 are going to make this year’s festival one for the books.

On January 2, Coachella organizers announced on Twitter that Travis Scott, Rage Against the Machine, and Frank Ocean will be headlining this year’s festival, which takes place across two weekends in April in the desert of Southern California.

According to the lineup, Rage Against the Machine will take the stage Friday, April 10 and 17 while Scott will rage on with fans during his set on Saturday, April 11 and 18.

Closing out the festival will be Ocean, who is set to serenade concertgoers on Sunday, April 12 and 19.

In addition to these amazing headliners, a few of the biggest names in music have also signed on to perform at this year’s festival.

Calvin Harris, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Nas X, City Girls, Lana Del Ray, Ari Lennox, Big Sean, and many more will be hitting different stages set up around the site.

While many of us have seen these artists give outstanding performances in the past, musicians are known for pulling out all of the stops when they headline Coachella.

From Beyoncé introducing her very own drumline to Kanye West being the first to perform gospel music on the Coachella grounds, each performance that happens at this festival is just as electrifying as the next.

Now that we know which artists are hitting the stage this year, many of us can’t wait to see what they bring to the table.

How much are tickets?

Shortly after announcing this year’s lineup, fans didn’t waste anytime getting their hands on tickets.

Passes for weekend 1 are already sold out but not all hope is lost because the presale for weekend 2 tickets begins January 6—so we would suggest jumping on those fast.

You can purchase tickets at www.coachella.com but just know that passes for this event are far from cheap.

According to Coachella’s website, general admission passes are going for $429 + fees and this is actually the less expensive option.

VIP passes are well over $1,000 but just like in past years, this event still sells out within minutes.

If you’re like us and can’t really afford to shell out thousands of dollars for a weekend in the desert, there is a way you can still be part of the event.

Each performance will be available to stream on Coachella’s YouTube page, so you won’t have to miss out on any of the excitement that takes place.

Seeing as though the performers at this year’s festival have huge fanbases, we have a feeling we won’t be only ones streaming this event from our couch.
