Corper Disqualified for ‘Inappropriate’ Dance Performance at NYSC Welcome Celebration (Watch Video)

The performance included suggestive movements that many found unsuitable for the occasion.

A female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) recently posted a clip showing her being asked to leave the stage during a dance competition at a camp welcome event.

In the video shared by @stephaniechidera0, several female corps members were demonstrating their dance abilities, with one participant in particular gaining attention.

This individual’s performance featured suggestive hip movements, intricate leg routines, and a split that many felt was not suitable for the event.

During her dance, an official interrupted her performance, instructing her to exit the stage.

“They said I went too far,” she wrote in the video’s caption.

The video soon gained widespread attention, igniting a lively discussion online. While some applauded the NYSC officials for upholding a certain standard, others criticized the decision to single her out.

Here are some reactions to the video:

Say_hey_to_albert commented: “Why did you bring a Nicki Minaj style to the stage, baby?

khalgudi_hair said: “She suggested you might want to head to a strip club.

firstladyxxo remarked: “See, that is why you shouldn’t perform that kind of dance in that environment; it looks more suited for your man’s bedroom or a strip club. They did the right thing.

Lyn added: “You wanted to distract the corps members?”
