The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) is currently seeking applicants for various positions.
This recruitment announcement was shared via the agency’s official X account on Monday.
The available positions include Assistant Manager and Deputy Manager roles in areas such as tax investigations, PRS (Research), Public Relations, and ICT, focusing on cybersecurity and AI management.
Additional openings consist of Assistant Manager and Deputy Manager roles in PRS (Risk Management), legal fields, as well as Senior Manager and Assistant Director positions in tax auditing.
“Candidates should hold the necessary qualifications and relevant professional certifications as outlined for each position,” the FIRS stated.
“Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or HND with at least a second-class lower or lower credit.”
“Furthermore, applicants should have completed their NYSC by December 31, 2017.”
The announcement further stated that “Interested individuals can apply through the official FIRS career portal at careers.firs.gov.ng or via verified FIRS social media channels.”
The application portal will be operational from December 23, 2024, with a submission deadline of January 11, 2025.
