Tom Holland and Will Smith star in ‘Spies in Disguise,’ premiering on Christmas Day
Turns out, being a spy is as cool as it sounds. In this animated movie, Tom Holland’s character, Walter Beckett, is a scientist, who transforms the spy, Lance Sterling, into a pigeon. It only gets crazier from there. Lance Sterling is portrayed by the Academy-Award nominated actor, Will Smith. When Tom Holland was asked about voice acting with Will Smith, he explained that he hadn’t met him until they did an escape room.
“It was kind of crazy, you know, because we did an escape room together,” Holland said during an interview with Variety. “I’ve been a big Will Smith fan for a long time, and then all of a sudden I was locked in a room with him, trying to get us to escape. And I don’t know if I wanted to escape, I was enjoying myself in there with Will Smith.”

Who doesn’t want to go on a quest with Chris Pratt? Tom Holland stars in this magical-gone-modern fairy tale, as the elf, Ian Lightfoot. Together with his brother, Barley Lightfoot, portrayed by Chris Pratt, the duo embark on an “errand” that may or may not turn into an adventure.
This Pixar movie premieres in theaters March 6, 2020. However, fans can learn more about these brothers from the movie’s trailer, which is now available on YouTube. Since the clip’s premiere, it earned over seven million views on the platform.
“I do feel like Tom is like a little brother to me and you see that reflected in this movie,” Chris Pratt said on stage at the D23 Expo. “To share that experience with somebody that you love, that’s really cool. It amplifies the experience in a way. We can look at each other and say, ‘Holy crap, can you believe that this is happening right now?’”

Tom Holland stars in ‘Dolittle,’ alongside ‘Avengers: Endgame’ actor Robert Downey Jr.
Premiering this upcoming January, Dolittle features a star-studded cast. Robert Downey Jr. portrays the title character, Dr. John Dolittle. This doctor is able to converse with animals, one of which being Tom Holland’s character, Jip, a dog.
Other actors in this movie include Selena Gomez, Rami Malek, Octavia Spencer, John Cena, and Kumail Nanjiani, who all portray animal friends in this upcoming film. This is not the first adaptation of Doctor Dolittle’s story. However, this movie premieres in theaters Jan. 17, 2020.
Spies in Disguise premieres in theaters on Dec. 25, 2019. Other movies featuring Tom Holland, including Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame, are available for streaming on Disney+.
