INEC Officials Warned of National Showdown if Governorship Results in Abia and Enugu are Altered by Comrade Julius Abure, Labour Party National Chairman.

Comrade Julius Abure, National Chairman of the Labour Party, has released a video warning of a potential national shutdown if the Governorship results in Enugu and Abia are “altered” by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Abure stated that the Labour Party candidates in both states were leading in the polls, and that in Abia state, the Labour Party candidate Dr Alex Otti had won in all local governments. However, Abure claimed that the Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, had allegedly held INEC officials hostage to manipulate the results. He warned that if the people’s mandates were “stolen” in those states, he would not be able to control any possible uprising. Abure’s video can be seen below:
