On Friday, members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) took to the streets of Aba in Abia state to demand the release of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu. The protesters, wearing white and carrying Biafra flags, marched from East Street to Azikiwe Road and then to Ariaria area. They expressed their determination to continue the protest until Kanu is freed, claiming that he has not done anything wrong to merit his detention. The demonstrators urged the federal government to obey the court order to release him.
