Renowned comedian Ekene Clinton Egbuna, known as Klintoncod, has labeled Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the leader of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, a scam artist.
He further alleged that the pastor is taking advantage of his followers by peddling phony miracle items.
Taking to Instagram, Klintoncod expressed his frustrations concerning the minister in a video.
He urged for the clergyman’s apprehension.
In his words, “Are we really going to keep acting like this man, Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, isn’t a blight on Christianity? As I speak, he’s likely deceiving numerous gullible individuals. He claims to be a man of God, yet I have serious doubts about that. There’s no significant difference between him and anyone who has been imprisoned for fraudulent deeds.”
“This individual roams around selling products, promising that purchasing these will lead to miracles. Recently, he packaged sand in a plastic bag, sealed it, and displayed his image on it, claiming that if you buy this sand, you’ll get divine assistance in building a home. A shocking number of foolish individuals gather in his church, reverently addressing him as ‘Papa’.”
“It’s not Tinubu or the APC that’s our main issue; it’s a reflection of how misguided Nigerians can be. This man is a contributing factor to why some have turned away from churches. In a rational society, he would either be imprisoned or placed in a psychiatric facility.”
