Lil Wayne is taking over the airwaves.
While many of his fans remain at home due to the pandemic, Lil Wayne is keeping them entertained with a brand new show. The Young Money boss is set to launch Young Money Radio on Apple Music’s Beats 1 this week. The first episode, hosted by Weezy himself, will air Friday at 7 p.m. EST with some surprise guests.
“THIS Friday, 7pm EST, yours truly will be hosting the VERY FIRST episode of YOUNG MONEY RADIO!” tweeted Wayne. “I’ll have heavyweights calling in discussing sports, music, comedy, everything!”
He plans to go live on Instagram first before transitioning to Apple for the full broadcast. “We’ll do the first few minutes on IG Live and then jump over to @applemusic for the FULL broadcast!” added Wayne.

Earlier this month, he hinted at the announcement with a cryptic teaser on social media. “Got somethin special komin real soon!” Weezy told fans.
The Young Money camp appears to be gearing up for more music too. The label recently released a new single and video for “Super Bowl” featuring three of its artists, Gudda Gudda, Hoodybaby, and Jay Jones.
Weezy is the latest star to get his own show on Apple Music following Travis Scott, The Weeknd, DJ Khaled, and his Young Money sister Nicki Minaj, who hosts her record-breaking Queen Radio show.
