Former BBNaija contestant and actress, Vee, recently revealed that she has never experienced true love.
In a discussion on the ‘Dear Ife’ podcast, Vee emphasized that to fully embrace love, one needs to be open and trusting, something she feels she hasn’t accomplished as of yet.
“I don’t believe I’ve ever truly loved. To truly enjoy love, you must let your guard down and trust someone completely, and I think that’s why I’ve never reached that point,” she explained.
Vee also mentioned that while she might overlook certain relationship red flags, dishonesty is something she cannot accept.
“There are always warning signs, and I tend to notice them but try to dismiss them, although I’m conscious of their presence. Everyone has flaws, but the main one that triggers my caution is lying,” she stated.
She shared a troubling experience where she received a message from another woman alleging her partner’s unfaithfulness.
Vee approached her partner about the accusations, but his inconsistent answers raised her suspicions about his honesty.
“I once had a stranger reach out with messages claiming my partner was sharing explicit photos with her. She stated she wanted to test our relationship for me, and he had liked some of those pictures. When I confronted him, he claimed others had access to his account, but his explanation didn’t make sense. I could feel he was lying,” she concluded.
