Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has refuted claims of a partnership with Atiku Abubakar for a joint ticket in the upcoming 2027 elections.

 

He emphasized his intention to run in the 2027 elections.

 

Obi made these remarks during an X Space session on Sunday night, where he interacted with his supporters.

 

The ex-governor of Anambra State confirmed his commitment to participating in the presidential race for 2027.

 

He stated: “I have not engaged in any negotiation regarding joint tickets, including with Atiku.”

Obi urged Nigerians to collaborate with him in efforts to revive the nation.

“I will establish stability in Nigeria within two years of my administration. It is essential for Nigerian leaders to come together and address the nation’s issues,” he concluded.
