Nigerian actress Omowunmi Ajiboye has responded to the prevalent misunderstandings regarding her connection with actor Segun Ogungbe.
During a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, Ajiboye confirmed that there was never any marriage or engagement between her and Ogungbe, countering the rumors.
She highlighted that Ogungbe never had the chance to meet her family, except for a friend of her brother living in Lagos.
Ajiboye urged her followers to be understanding, making it clear that she is not a negative influence nor did she disrupt Ogungbe’s life.
She mentioned that while they were together, their relationship was positive, and even after their parting, Ogungbe has continued to thrive.
“To clarify, Segun Ogungbe and I were never in a marriage or engagement. He did not meet my family aside from a friend of my brother’s in Lagos. Segun can attest to this,”
“I kindly ask my fans to be gentle with me. I am not a bad person and did not ruin Segun Ogungbe’s life. Our time together was positive, and now that we have separated, he’s still doing well.”
“So please, let me live my life freely. I wish you all stability in your homes, that your children are raised with love and not by strangers. I hope you won’t face sudden losses. Just let me be, please,” she expressed.
