The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has claimed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) instructed members of the Nigeria Police to intimidate them and obstruct their upcoming National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.

The PDP has made allegations against the Nigerian police and APC regarding their efforts to interfere with its planned NEC meeting.

According to the PDP, the APC sent police forces to intimidate them, preventing the execution of the NEC meeting.

This meeting was intended to occur on June 30, 2025.

Previously, police personnel had occupied the party’s headquarters located at Wadada Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, which was designated for the meeting.

“On the instructions of the APC, federal police and other security forces are pressing our party’s Board of Trustees members and staff at the National Secretariat in an effort to derail the meeting,” the PDP stated in a message on X.
