PDP Stands Strong in Lagos, Declares Bode George

PDP Not Collapsed In Lagos – Bode George (via Primetweets)

Bode George, the former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has addressed the notion that the party has fallen apart in Lagos.

He dismissed these assertions on Monday while speaking to the press following a PDP stakeholders’ meeting held in Lagos.

It’s worth noting that several key figures in Lagos PDP, including the 2023 governorship candidate Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran (also known as Jandor) and spokesperson Alh. Hakeem Amode, have recently joined the opposing APC.

The veteran politician emphasized that while all organizations encounter difficulties, the PDP is resilient due to its strong and established foundation across the country.

“I want to reassure our leaders that the Iroko political party is very much vigorous,” George stated.

He lamented that a prominent party elder had supported Jandor in 2023, resulting in him receiving the party’s flag—an endorsement he now regrets.

“It is utterly ridiculous to claim that the PDP framework in Lagos State has collapsed into APC,” George asserted.
