Shehu Sani, a former senator for Kaduna Central, has expressed strong opinions about Nigerians who acquire their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) but do not cast their votes.
He believes these individuals should face penalties.
Sani shared his views on social media, advocating for this action.
He argued that enforcing fines could effectively improve voter participation rates during elections.
“Imposing significant fines on those who have PVCs but choose not to vote would be beneficial,” he stated.
“This approach is crucial to solving the issue of low voter turnout,” he added.
