So-Safe Corps Arrests Ex-convict And Two Others For Vandalism In Ogun

it was disclosed that the suspects were arrested on Sunday, May 26, at about 5:30 am by the patrol team of the security outfit led by Chief Superintendent of Corps, Abdulkareem Abdulrazaq.

Eze Sunday, Eze Charles, Jamilu Danjuma

An ex-convict, Eze Sunday, alongside Eze Charles and Jamilu Danjuma have been arrested by So-Safe Corps, for vandalizing and stealing transformer cables at Idiroko, Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun state.

In a statement released on Wednesday, May 29, from the Office of the State Commander of the Corps, Soji Ganzallo and signed by Moruf Yusuf, the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Ogun State-owned security agency, it was disclosed that the suspects were arrested on Sunday, May 26, at about 5:30 am by the patrol team of the security outfit led by Chief Superintendent of Corps, Abdulkareem Abdulrazaq.

The statement added;

“The suspects, Eze Sunday, an ex-convict, Eze John Charles, and Jamilu Danjuma, confessed to the crime and mentioned the third suspect as the receiver of the stolen items.

“The suspects and the recovered exhibits, including burnt and separated copper wires, have been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Idiroko Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.

“This arrest is a testament to the corps’ commitment to tackling vandalism and theft in the state. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of Ogun State citizens.”
