Tammy Abraham, a striker for AC Milan, expressed a strong desire to revisit Nigeria, a country that holds significant meaning for him due to his heritage.
Though born in Camberwell, London, to Nigerian parents, he treasures the memories he has of visiting Nigeria.
Abraham made his debut with the England national team in 2020 during a match against the Czech Republic.
In a recent chat with Milan TV, he shared, “I have a few Nigerian friends.”
“Growing up, I was surrounded by many Nigerians, and that culture is part of my life. I’ve visited Nigeria and look forward to returning. My mom loves preparing Nigerian food.”
Back in 2017, the Nigeria Football Federation reached out to him in hopes of representing the Super Eagles, but Abraham ultimately chose to play for England.
At 27 years old, he has represented England 11 times and scored three goals for the team.
