As fans recall, the “Lover” singer has long said that Kanye West did not call her to have her approve his controversial line about her: “I think me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous (God damn).” West and wife Kim Kardashian always insisted that he did call and that they had the tape to prove it.
Although Kardashian posted parts of that call on Snapchat in 2016, the full transcript of Taylor Swift and West’s phone conversation was never released — until now. It’s unclear who leaked it, but shockingly, the stars are less focused on finding the leaker and more focused on firing burning shots at one another… again.
According to Variety, Swift posted on Instagram Story, “Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years)… SWIPE up to see what really matters.”
In another slide, she explained “what really matters” is donating to organizations helping people through the coronavirus crisis. “The World Health Organization and Feeding America are some of the organizations I’ve been donating to,” she wrote. “If you have the ability to, please join me in donating during this crisis.”
