A Nigerian individual, Itopa Abdulfatah, has shared his perspective on bride price.
In a Facebook post, he expressed that bride price should only be required for women who are virgins.
He believes it is unreasonable for men to pay a bride price for women who have already had relationships with others without any cost.
“The bride price should only be paid if the woman is a virgin; paying for what others have freely received is a scam,” he stated.
