Nigerian attorney Ilavbare Rahmatulai expressed her beliefs regarding a woman’s submission in marriage, arguing that factors such as lack of appreciation, disrespect from a partner, and deprivation of intimacy significantly impact a woman’s ability to be submissive.
In her post, she emphasized:
”A married woman cannot exhibit submission if she faces:
1. A husband who is disrespectful and unthoughtful.
2. Being the breadwinner without receiving acknowledgment.
3. Being deprived of physical intimacy.
With a good companion, the act of submission comes naturally to a woman, regardless of financial status.”
