On May 17, 2020, TMZ published photos of Megan Fox hanging out with Machine Gun Kelly (real name Richard Colson Baker), her co-star in the movie, Midnight In The Switchgrass. Brian Austin Green shared a cryptic post seemingly in response to the pics, captioning a shot of a butterfly, “Eventually butterflies get bored sitting on a flower for too long. They start feeling smothered. It’s a great big world and they want to experience it.”
Green got way more direct about the Machine Gun Kelly speculation during his podcast, explaining, “She met this guy, Colson, on set … I’ve never met him … Megan and I have talked about him. They’re just friends at this point.” The dad added, “I trust her judgment, she’s always had really good judgment. I don’t want people to think her or he are villains or that I was a victim in any way.”
Gossip aside, it’s clear Green wants the best for Fox, even if it hurts. “It sucks when life changes and something that you’re used to, that you’ve been doing for 15 years, you try and not get rid of but you change,” he shared. “There’s the unknown aspect … there’s that pit in my stomach I really don’t want Megan and I to be at odds … she’s been my best friend for 15 years and I don’t want to lose that.”
