Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, representing Ondo South, has addressed the ongoing security challenges in Nigeria, calling for patience towards President Bola Tinubu.
During an interview with Arise TV, Ibrahim mentioned that despite the security budget being approved by President Tinubu in January, the expectation for complete safety by April is not realistic.
He pointed out that President Tinubu has been in office for less than two years and urged the public to appreciate that improving national security is a gradual process that necessitates collective effort.
“The President passed the security budget in January. We don’t expect everyone to be secure by April,” he remarked. “He’s not been president for up to two years, and it’s essential for every Nigerian to recognize their role in ensuring their own security.”
