Tragic Aftermath: Over 100 Lives Lost in Jigawa Tanker Explosion Laid to Rest in Collective Burial (Video)

A tragic incident unfolded late on Tuesday night in Jigawa State, where a petrol tanker lost control and exploded, leading to significant devastation.

The victims who lost their lives in the explosion in Majia Town, Jigawa State, have been interred in a mass grave.

Confirming the details, Shi’isu Adam, the state Police Spokesperson, noted that the tanker was traveling from Kano to Nguru in Yobe State when it met with an accident close to Khadija University in Majiya Town.

Adam recounted that around 11:30 PM, the driver lost control, resulting in a deadly explosion that affected many individuals nearby.

Additionally, an X user, @ImranMuhdz, shared a video depicting the mass burial of over 100 victims, captioned: “Mass burial of over 100 victims of the tanker explosion in Majia Town, Jigawa State.”
