Renowned Nigerian actor and filmmaker, Ugezu Ugezu, has shared his perspective on the actions of politicians in Nigeria.
In a recent Instagram post, he expressed that politicians tend to speak honestly about critical national issues only once their time in office has concluded.
Ugezu expressed his confusion regarding this recurring behavior among politicians, humorously questioning whether there is something that clouds their judgment after they take an oath of office.
He remarked, “There’s something in Nigerian politics that someone should please explain. WHY IS IT THAT NIGERIAN POLITICIANS WILL ONLY START TALKING SENSE ONCE THEY LEAVE OFFICE? Is it that we have demons in all the government offices that blind them once they get sworn in? Nigeria is in a mess and only sincerity in administration can salvage things.”
