It’s the same routine response… Try again after the international break!” While fans may have hoped for encouraging news, Slot remained firm, leaving them uncertain.
Despite the ongoing uncertainty, Slot is concentrating on the immediate challenges, and fans should as well, especially regarding club-record signing Darwin Nunez. The Uruguayan forward has been struggling to score lately, with his latest frustrations arising during a mid-week victory against Bologna. However, Slot called for patience.

“It’s a challenge for us to find ways to utilize Darwin differently compared to Diogo [Jota], as they are distinct players,” Slot said. “He missed a chance because he was offside, but we weren’t able to place him in the right spots that we desire.”
With Liverpool performing strongly, fans may need to put their faith in Slot to resolve these issues, hoping that the monotone responses transform into thrilling contract renewals for their star players.
